For this activity, please choose your favourite inspirational quote. Create a text graphic using this quote.
On your blog, share your text graphic and underneath it, explain what it means to you.
In the future I will  always try to always follow this quote and always tell them what, always inspires to do better. Then I will tell them It, never give up on what you really want to do.  The person with big dreams is more powerful than one with all the facts. Albert Einstein

  1. Kia ora Josaia,

It is lovely meeting you! I am so excited that you are joining us for the Summer Learning Journey 2019-2020. Have you done this programme before?

This is my first year joining the Summer Learning Journey, and I am so excited that I get to read over the Manaiakalani blogs.

I’m really looking forward to summer, aren't you? In my spare time I like spending time at the beach and hanging out with my friends. I also enjoy going for walks and I absolutely love cooking and baking. What are you looking forward to doing this summer?

I really enjoy the quote you chose by Albert Einstein. I agree, we should never give up on our dreams! We should always try to make our dreams a reality, and never settle for less.

What are some of your dreams in life Josaia?

  2. Good Afternoon Josaia,

I am Samuel, Mrs. Tui's son, as you probably already know. I really enjoyed reading the quote you have chosen, and the back-story behind it. I love Albert Einstein, and I had a slight obsession with him since I was aged 4, and this is a quote that really changed my mindset in school, as I had the very wrong idea that grades defined who you were and your success was measured by how well you did in school, so thank you for reminding me of that.

This is a very good blog post, Josaia. Well done on also remembering to attribute your image and the links to the websites you have used in this blog post. Now, I shall end by one of my favourite quotes.

" Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep balance, you have to keep on moving "-Albert Einstein.
This reminds me not to dwell on the past, as it is but a dream, but rather to envision a good tomorrow.

    Kind Regards,
    Samuel
