Summer learning journey day 4
For this activity I have to pick one video either Venus Williams or Serena Williams video. I have to write down 3 thing I learned from each video. Both Venus Williams and Serena Williams fought for equal pay for women.
1. The first fact is Serena Williams suffered from a blood clot in her lungs. People thought she would never play again but that did not stop her from playing. She won multiple tournaments.
2. Serena Williams and her sister won the 2000 Olympic games and that is how their career started to come together. That is how Serena became famous.
3. Serena Williams became successful with family. You can do anything with family. Serena Williams and her sister Venus Williams worked together with their family and became a success.

I had no idea that she suffered from a blood clot in her lungs.I did know that she started to play tennis when she was three! Did you know that Serena Williams is currently in Auckland? She is competing in the ASB Classic. It is a tennis competition hosted here in Auckland!
